The version offered here is the original peephole box with a fully functional peephole and rotating photo wheel. This box contains 6 CD and 6 DVD discs. The DVDs contain advanced resolution audio in multichannel format.

Plus if you have a DVD-A capable player you can access their full potential for stunning audiophile sound! Although not marked on the discs, the CDs are HDCD encoded.

All six albums (The Doors, Strange Days, Waiting For The Sun, The Soft Parade, Morrison Hotel and LA Woman) come with a booklet as well. This is, in my humble opinion, the best Doors boxset ever produced. As you can see from the first photograph, there's a hairline scratch on the front. Other than that this item is in near mint condition.

The surfaces of all CD and DVD discs are all flawless and work as they should. Some would call the discs'mint' but I'm going with near mint here because I never use the condition description'mint' on an open/used item, no matter how perfect the discs look.
